If you want to beat the BNP leave the European Union.

IT IS no secret that the BNP's increasing support is part protest vote, but mostly a reaction to the scale of uncontrolled immigration which has hit the UK. The BNP are known well to be hardline on immigration. Sadly they have got quite good at hiding the fact that they believe in such a policy not due to economic or practical reasons, but because of the Party's deeply-held bigoted views.

So as Labour Minister after Labour Minister like Andy Burnham lines up to talk about taking the BNP on, I have only one reply. It is time for those politicians from mainstream politics, if they truly wish to tackle Nick Griffin's lot, to talk about the real elephant in the room. Britain's membership of the European Union opened it up to unlimited and uncontrolled immigration from Eastern Europe and most notably, Poland. The Labour government clearly know that such a scale of immigration has had a damaging effect, no matter what they say. Just look at how they have tightened immigration controls against non-EU citizens. Britain ridiculously now discriminates against non-EU immigrants as they are the only newcomers the government now have the power to restrict coming and settling.

The simple fact is that EU membership prohibits member states controlling their own borders. If Britain doesn't start to control its borders, the BNP will increase their support as more and more people get angry. UKIP did extremely well in the Euro Elections and their non-racist agenda should be applauded. But the BNP will continue to grow until politicians admit how much the EU affects the running of the UK. If our politicians do not bite the bullet and talk about the crux of the issue, the BNP will continue to grow. It will be our politicians fault if more Nazis are elected if they willfully choose to sidestep the meat of the immigration issue.
